Rabac is not one beach: it is a sequence of white-pebble bays and rocky points, connected by a walk that is part of the pleasure.
The coast has four names worth remembering: Girandella for a broad choice of bathing spots and activity; St. Andrea for its seaside setting; Lanterna for the paths through pine shade; and Maslinica for its longer, more open sweep of pebbles. They are all recognized by the regional tourism guide, but their character varies.

The beaches of Rabac.
The pleasure is in moving between them. Walk the promenade before choosing your place, note the wind and the direction of the sun, and leave time for a second swim later in the day. White pebbles are beautiful but not soft sand; water shoes can help on the stonier entries.
“The best Rabac beach is the one that matches your day—not the one with the loudest reputation.”
